The distillation boiler is not only the oldest wooden column boiler in the world, but also the oldest working column boiler. After closing in 1993, the distillery was moved to its current location, the Diamond Distillery in Georgetown.

A 25-year-old Caroni from Trinidad, distilled in 1998 and bottled at cask strength. Leather, dried fruit, oak, rubber and earthy notes give it the profile of a mature, dry and layered Caroni.
