The Sakurao Distillery—2018—is located in Hatsukaichi, Japan. This modern distillery is an extension of the Sakurao Brewery and Distillery. It distills in an Arnold Holstein Hybrid Still, which yields fruity and elegant whisky.

Crafted from 100% malted barley, it undergoes double distillation and is first aged in ex-bourbon casks before spending 18 months in French Sauternes wine casks, enhancing its depth with rich honeyed sweetness.

Aged exclusively in ex-Sherry hogsheads for around three years, it develops a rich, full-bodied character with deep notes of dried fruits, dark chocolate, and subtle peat smoke. The coastal climate accelerates maturation, enhancing complexity and depth.

An elegant gin from Hiroshima, Japan, with fresh notes of yuzu, lemon, and green tea, enhanced by shiso and floral accents. Light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced – ideal for cocktails or with premium tonic.
