Distilled on March 18th 2019, this genever was aged for 4 years in former white port barrels. The Genever was bottled on April 27th 2023 as 1 of only 2293 bottles as a limited small batch release.
This single malt surprises! After distillation, the whisky has been fully matured in Tawny Port wine casks that give it its beautiful colour and contribute to the elegant fruity notes that go so well with the delicate peaty notes.
The new distillate is distilled three times in a small pot still. Then the distillate is partially distilled a fourth time with carefully selected herbs such as juniper berry, licorice root and aniseed.
