Zuidam

The Millstone Special No. 21 20 years old 2000 Pedro Ximenez Sherry butt is the 21st special release single malt from Zuidam Distillers. This old Millstone was distilled on 26 October 2000 and matured in PX sherry butt BO231.

Dutch blended whisky from Zuidam, combining single malt, wheat and 5-grain whisky with a finish in PX sherry casks. Notes of raisins, toffee and cocoa lead into a warm, gently spiced finish.

The grain eau de vie (malt wine) is distilled from equal parts Rye, Corn and Malted Barley. The corn gives a rich sweetness, the rye gives spicy notes and the malted barley provides the body.

This fruity and pleasantly light genever is distilled from a mixture of equal parts Rye, Corn and Malted Barley. After three distillations, the resulting distillate is partially distilled again with herbs such as juniper, licorice and aniseed. The result

This is a more fruity and delicate genever than old genever created by the additional distillation of the malt wine.

The new distillate is distilled three times in a small pot still. Then the distillate is partially distilled a fourth time with carefully selected herbs such as juniper berry, licorice root and aniseed.

Dutch rum from Zuidam Distillers aged 7 years in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Rich notes of raisins, figs, caramel and cocoa with gentle spice and a warm sherry influence. Bottled without chill filtration or added colouring.

This Zuidam Rogge Genever is a silky smooth but very rich genever due to the extra long maturation. The unique spiciness of the rye is supported by the flavors of juniper, licorice root and aniseed.

Distilled on March 18th 2019, this genever was aged for 4 years in former white port barrels. The Genever was bottled on April 27th 2023 as 1 of only 2293 bottles as a limited small batch release.

This special genever combines the spiciness of the Spelled grains with the flavors of juniper, licorice root and aniseed. The spelled genever is distilled three times in small red copper stills from a 100% spelled grain mixture.
