Kilchoman 13YO (50%)

The Kilchoman 13 Year Old shows how extended maturation shapes the signature style of Kilchoman Distillery. While many Kilchoman releases are known for their youthful intensity, this bottling brings greater balance and cohesion without losing its Islay character.

Kilchoman is one of the few distilleries on the island to oversee the entire process from barley to bottle, with part of the barley grown and processed locally.

After 13 years of maturation, the whisky becomes more integrated. The nose reveals citrus and vanilla, followed by gentle peat smoke and hints of ripe fruit. On the palate it is rounder and more balanced, with notes of honey, dried fruit and light spice, while the smoke is more refined and woven into the profile.

The finish is long and even, with soft peat, oak and lingering sweetness.
