Within the range of Matusalem, the Gran Reserva 23 represents a more developed expression, where extended ageing and blending result in a smoother yet more layered profile.

The solera system combines rums of different ages, creating a consistent structure with greater depth compared to younger releases. Oak influence is more pronounced, yet remains well integrated.

On the nose, notes of caramel, vanilla and ripe dried fruit appear, supported by light spice and a hint of cocoa. The palate is full yet smooth, with toffee, raisins, oak and subtle spice. The finish is longer and slightly richer, with lingering warm and lightly sweet notes.
