Rest & Be Thankful Long Pond 1998 LSO is a single cask Jamaican rum from the Long Pond distillery, one of the most recognised producers of traditional, characterful Jamaican rum. This release is part of the Rest & Be Thankful selection, focused on origin, transparency and cask-driven bottlings.

Distilled in 1998, the rum was aged for 24 years, combining tropical and continental maturation. This dual ageing process contributes both intensity from the tropical phase and additional refinement from the European ageing period.

The LSO mark represents a specific style within Long Pond, where fermentation and ester levels define the profile. In this bottling, this results in a structured yet expressive character, where ripe tropical fruit is balanced by spice and clear oak influence from extended ageing.

Drawn from a single cask and bottled at cask strength, this release comes in a limited outturn. In line with the bottler’s philosophy, it is non-chill filtered and free from added colouring.
