This high-quality rum was developed by the island's youngest Maestro Ronero, César Martí. The rum is made with 70% aged aguardientes, the highest percentage of all rums, and has been aged for at least seven years in oak barrels.
La Progresiva 13 is produced by the Bodega Vigia distillery. Next to the distillery is estate Finca Vigia, which may not immediately ring a bell, but this is the place where Ernest Hemingway lived and also wrote much of his books.
