After a very inspiring and welcoming visit to the only rum distillery in Seychelles, we decided that the new GRANKAZ had to be THE festival bottling for the 18th edition of the Whisky & Rum by the Sea festival.

Takamaka Kreol Cask is a smooth, lightly oaked rum from the Seychelles, made from local sugarcane and matured in oak casks. Balanced and approachable, it offers notes of vanilla, caramel and gentle spice, perfect for sipping or cocktails.

Traditional pot distilled Seychelles cane rum aged in medium toast new French oak is blended with their three year old ex-bourbon molasses rum and 8 year old Bajan Foursquare molasses rum.

A spiced rum from the Seychelles built around molasses rum, local spices and oak. Cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and a touch of sweetness are supported by clear wood influence and added depth from 8 year old rum from Barbados.

Takamaka Extra Noir is a blend of pot and column distilled molasses rum, soaked with French oak then pressed with both French and ex-bourbon wood. Finally, the rum then settles in ex French cane rum casks for 60 days.

This no-nonsense, light white rum is the beating heart of all Takamaka rums.
It is a column still molasses based rum distilled up to 94% and then diluted with pure island spring water to bottling strength.

An unaged rum from the Seychelles, made from a blend of pot and column distillates and treated with oak from ex-bourbon casks for added softness and notes of vanilla, brown sugar and gentle spice.

A high-strength white rum from the Seychelles, made from molasses and distilled in a column still. Spicy notes, citrus, vanilla and hints of banana give it a bold profile suited to cocktails and mixed drinks.
