This secret Speyside single malt was distilled in 2008 and matured for 17 years in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts before being bottled in 2026 at a powerful 57.1%. As is customary with Signatory, this is done without colorings and without chill filtration.
Among enthusiasts, the designation “Speyside (M)” is frequently associated with a well-known distillery from Craigellachie, although Signatory itself deliberately remains silent on this matter. What matters most is the character in the glass. The long maturation in first-fill Oloroso casks yields a full-bodied and layered whisky in which raisins, dates, orange peel, and dark honey combine with cocoa, roasted nuts, and warm spices.
