It brings out notes of vanilla, sweet spices, and honey that harmonize with subtle smoky coastal flavors. Refill casks allow the distillery's character to come fully into its own, while the Madeira influence adds a round, fruity sweetness and warmth.
The result is a whisky that invites discovery. On the nose, soft sea air and flint smoke combine with baked apple, maple syrup, and subtle spices. The taste is soft and slightly oily, with vanilla pudding, toasted almond, and sweet dried fruit enveloped by elegant smoke.
