With Edition 72, Tres Hombres once again demonstrates how traditional ageing and maritime transport can complement each other. This 15-year-old rum is initially matured in oak casks in the Dominican Republic and continues to evolve during its journey by sailing ship.

Oak influence is clearly present, yet well integrated with the rum’s natural sweetness. On the nose, it opens with vanilla, dried fruit and light caramel, followed by subtle spice and a fresh, almost saline edge.

On the palate, the rum is both powerful and refined. Layers of toffee, raisins and gentle spice are supported by an elegant oak structure. The slightly higher strength adds tension and length without disturbing the balance. The finish is long, warm and slightly dry, with lingering oak and spice.
