The base first spends eight years in ex-bourbon casks in Panama, where it develops its softer side with vanilla, caramel and gentle spice. It is then finished further in Ireland in Oloroso sherry casks, which give the profile more depth, dryness and darker definition.

Toasted nuts and earthy notes lead on the nose, followed by a palate built around demerara, walnut, toffee and dark chocolate.
