Botran Rare Blend Vintage French Wine Cask shows a more refined, wine-cask-led side of the house. Made from virgin sugar cane honey, it is built from a selection of mature reserves first aged in a mix of bourbon and fortified wine casks, before receiving an additional period in French wine barrels. That final stage gives the rum its own identity, leaning further into dried fruit, nutty notes, gentle spice and an elegant layer of oak.

In the glass, it opens with vanilla, nuts and dried fruit, followed by caramel, spice and a more fruit-driven accent from the wine cask. The palate is full and smooth, carrying toasted notes, delicate spice and a rounded richness that stays composed throughout. It is a bottling with a more polished, luxurious feel, where the French wine cask finish brings extra refinement and depth without overwhelming the Botran house style.
