Clairin Communal (43%) is an authentic, traditional Haitian clairin, created as a blend of four different distillates from four different villages. This makes it a perfect introduction to the world of clairin: pure, vibrant and full of character, while remaining approachable thanks to its lower ABV.
Clairin is often considered the purest form of Haitian rum: made from sugarcane juice, fermented through spontaneous fermentation using natural yeasts, and distilled in small pot stills. It is produced with organic sugarcane and chemical-free farming, resulting in a spirit that truly reflects Haitian terroir — without filtration or additives.
On the nose, Clairin Communal is fresh and aromatic, with notes of sugarcane, floral touches and a hint of pear. The palate brings more cane sweetness, followed by soft vanilla, before fruit notes and spice take the lead. The finish is elegant and distinctly vegetal, with impressions of hay and dried flowers.
A unique rum for lovers of pure, characterful spirits — and a perfect way to discover clairin.
