Douglas Laing's Scallywag the Chocalate Edition 2024 (48%)

The 7th release of Scallywag The Chocolate Edition is a deliciously flavorful fusion of the distinctive Speyside character combined with the luxurious influence of the finest port casks.
The combination between Speyside and port gives the whisky a sweet and silky palate, revealing layers of brown sugar, dark forest fruit and warm baking spices.
As usual with Douglas Laing, the Scallywag Chocolate Edition has undergone no artificial coloring or chill filtration. The whisky is bottled at 48% and is - how could it not be - excellent with dark chocolate.

Nose: Silky smooth with sweet and spicy aromas of cinnamon and cocoa.
Taste: Dark chocolate, brown sugar, dark forest fruit and warm baking spices.
Finish: Fresh and fruity with notes of licorice, blueberries and blackberries.
