Hampden Estate Rum – Single Cask #665 “Elaenia” is a rare, limited-edition expression from Jamaica’s iconic Hampden Estate, known for its high-ester, pot still rums and centuries-old distillation tradition.

Distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2020, this rum matured for 8 years in the tropical climate of Jamaica, drawing intense character from the wood. It is produced using the OWH mark — Hampden’s lowest ester marque — resulting in a more delicate, refined profile compared to its higher ester siblings.

Bottled at a robust 59.9% ABV, non-chill filtered, and free from added sugar or coloring, this single cask release is part of the Trelawny Endemic Birds Series, which pays tribute to Jamaica’s rich biodiversity. The label features the Elaenia, a native bird species, emphasizing the rum’s connection to the land.
