Mount Gay XO - Triple Cask Blend (43%)

Mount Gay XO is built around a combination of different cask types, bringing together maturation in ex-bourbon, American whiskey and cognac casks. This creates a broader and more layered profile while maintaining its recognisable Barbados character.

The nose is rich and rounded, with notes of ripe banana, vanilla and gentle spice, alongside dried fruit and subtle oak. The mix of casks adds depth without any single element dominating.

On the palate, balance is key: soft and full, with caramel, oak and a hint of cocoa, supported by spice and light fruit. The structure remains cohesive and controlled.

The finish is medium to long, with a warm, lightly spiced tail and a smooth, rounded close.
