Planteray Rum PXXO (40%)

Planteray PXXO is a blend of older rums from Barbados, built around a layered cask ageing approach. The rum undergoes multiple stages of maturation, including new oak, ex-bourbon, Ferrand cognac casks and a finishing period in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.

This multi-cask process creates a broad and expressive profile. The nose immediately shows richer, sweeter notes of raisins, figs and dark caramel, supported by vanilla and gentle spice.

On the palate, it is full and rounded, with candied fruit, chocolate and soft spice coming together. The influence of the different casks adds depth, with sweetness balanced by oak and spice.

The finish is long and rich, with lingering dried fruit and a warm, lightly spiced conclusion.
