Saint James Quintessence (42%)

Saint James Quintessence (42% ABV) is a prestigious extra old / XO rhum agricole from Martinique (AOC). It is a blend of carefully selected Saint James vintages, created to capture the broad aromatic spectrum of the house’s oldest style.

This cuvée is built from aged vintages matured for at least 6 years in small oak casks, focusing on concentration and finesse. Quintessence was also conceived as the successor to the estate’s 240th anniversary cuvée.

Aromatically it leans into ripe, candied fruit (think fig/date), supported by toasted notes (mocha), spice, a touch of undergrowth, and an elegant oak framework. On the palate it is rich and layered, finishing long and warm with fruit and spice lingering beautifully.
