Tamosi Barbados, Jamaica, Panama - Guyana Cask Finish (60,2%)

This bottling shows clearly how Tamosi likes to work outside the expected lines. The base is a blend of rums from Barbados, Jamaica and Panama, each bringing something distinct to the final result. Barbados adds body and roundness, Panama provides a softer and more approachable foundation, and Jamaica brings extra tension and lift. The blend is then given a long finish of more than three and a half years in a series of Guyana casks that previously held Port Mourant 1998, Skeldon 2001 and Enmore KFM 1991. That final stage is what gives the rum its darker and more layered side.

In the glass, the rum feels full and expressive without becoming heavy. Coconut and vanilla give it a creamy opening, followed by tropical fruit and a gentle spice that build more depth. The old Guyana casks add extra oak, darker tones and more weight, while still allowing the blend to stay smooth and well integrated. The result is a rum that feels rich and characterful, yet remains remarkably easy to enjoy.

What makes this rum especially appealing is that the finish does far more than simply add another flavour layer. The three origins remain recognisable, but the Guyana casks bring them together with extra depth and cohesion.
