Boschendal 1685 Chenin Blanc (13,5%)

Light green in colour with a subtle yellow hue. The nose reveals generous aromas of mango, peach, pineapple and lime, complemented by a hint of cashew nuts. The palate has a lightly creamy texture from lees ageing, resulting in a full and layered finish.

For the Chenin Blanc from the world-famous 1685 range, the grapes are sourced from vineyards located in Helderberg, Polkadraai and Faure. These regions lie close to the ocean, where cooling winds from False Bay help the grapes retain freshness while reaching optimal ripeness.
