Deep ruby red in colour. The nose offers generous aromas of red cherries, red plum, mulberries and blackberries, complemented by hints of chocolate and vanilla. The palate is smooth with rounded tannins, leading to a fruity and lingering finish.

This 100% Merlot comes from the historic Boschendal estate, founded in 1685 and recognised as the second-oldest winery in South Africa. The vineyards for this wine are located in the Stellenbosch and Elgin regions, with vines ranging from 7 to 25 years old, contributing to the wine’s depth and complexity.
