Boschendal 1685 Shiraz (14%)

Bright purple in colour. The nose is expressive with aromas of blueberries, blackberries, black plums and black cherries, complemented by hints of white pepper, tobacco and chocolate. The palate has a firm structure with silky tannins, leading to a full and juicy finish.

For this Shiraz within the 1685 range, Boschendal carefully selected grapes from vineyards across the subregions of Stellenbosch, Elgin and Swartland to create a balanced and characterful wine. All bunches were handpicked and carefully sorted to ensure that only the finest grapes were used.
