The nose opens in a warm, generous way, with vanilla and caramel at the centre, followed by butterscotch, ripe fruit and a gentle thread of spice. On the palate, it stays rounded and composed, carrying notes of caramel, lightly burnt sugar and soft oak, with hints of dried fruit, mild spices and a subtle herbal edge that brings extra detail. The cask influence is well integrated throughout, adding texture and length without pushing the rum into a heavy or overly woody direction.
