Planteray/Plantation Isle of Fiji (40%)

Planteray Rum Isle of Fiji is made from Fijian sugarcane grown in the island's volcanic soil and ultra-pure spring water. All the sugarcane is traditionally harvested by hand and then processed into molasses at the local sugar mill in Lautoka. It is double-matured: first in Fiji in ex-bourbon casks, then during transport by sea (dynamic aging), and finally in France for the second phase of the double aging process. This creates warm notes of exotic fruit and raisins and a rich, rounded finish.
