Rhum J.M. 2013 - Rhum Vieux Agricole Millésimé (43.8%)

Rhum J.M 2013 is a vintage rhum vieux agricole from Martinique, distilled from a single harvest and fully tropically aged at the foot of Montagne Pelée. As a millésimé expression, it reflects both the character of the 2013 harvest and the northern Martinique terroir.

Distilled in a traditional Creole column still, the spirit matured for several years in American oak barrels under tropical conditions. This ageing results in pronounced aromatic concentration and structured oak influence while preserving the vibrant agricole backbone.

The nose reveals ripe tropical fruit, orange peel and vanilla, supported by toasted oak and gentle spice. On the palate, it is structured and refined, offering caramel, cocoa, dried fruit and a subtle peppery edge. The slightly elevated 43.8% ABV enhances tension and length.

The finish is long, warm and elegantly dry, balancing fruit, oak and spice.
