Rhum J.M. Canopée - Rhum Agricole Hors d'Âge (46%)

Rhum J.M Canopée is a limited Hors d’Âge rhum agricole from northern Martinique, crafted at the distillery located at the foot of Montagne Pelée. The name “Canopée” refers to the tropical rainforest canopy surrounding the estate, which influences the unique ageing environment.

This expression is a blend of carefully selected, long tropical-aged rums (meeting XO category standards under AOC Martinique). Matured in toasted American oak barrels, the warm and humid climate accelerates interaction between spirit and wood. Bottled at 46% ABV, it delivers enhanced structure, aromatic precision and length.

The nose is layered and expressive, revealing toasted oak, cocoa, candied orange peel and ripe tropical fruit. Subtle notes of coffee, vanilla and gentle spice add complexity. On the palate, it is powerful yet refined, with a concentrated texture and a harmonious balance between oak, dried fruit and spice.

The finish is long, dry and elegantly spiced, lingering with cocoa, roasted nuts and warm oak tones.
