Rhum J.M. Old Terroir Volcanique (43%)

Rhum J.M Terroir Volcanique highlights the distinctive character of northern Martinique. The sugar cane is grown on volcanic soils at the foot of Montagne Pelée, contributing a pronounced mineral and lightly saline signature typical of this terroir.

Distilled in a traditional Creole column still, the rum is tropically aged in carefully selected oak casks. The maturation aims to preserve freshness and precision while adding subtle roundness and depth.

The nose reveals ripe yellow fruit and citrus zest, supported by delicate vanilla and gentle oak spice. On the palate, it is structured and elegant with notes of lime, pear, light caramel and a clear mineral backbone. The oak remains refined and supportive.

The finish is medium-length, dry and lightly spiced, with lingering mineral freshness and tension.
