Don Papa Baroko (40%)

Don Papa Baroko is a rum from the Philippine island of Negros, produced by the Bleeding Heart Rum Company. It is made from molasses derived from locally grown sugarcane grown on volcanic soil.

After fermentation, the rum is distilled in a column still and aged for several years in American oak casks. Selected casks are then blended to create a consistent and approachable style.

In the glass, Don Papa Baroko shows a distinctly rounded and sweet profile. Vanilla takes the lead, supported by notes of honey, candied fruit and ripe banana. Hints of caramel and oak add depth, while a gentle spice keeps the profile balanced. The overall structure remains smooth and easy-going, with a clear focus on sweetness and drinkability.
